Shane and his wife, Lisa, have been married for over 20 years and they have three children (Serena, Samuel, and Gabriel). He also plays percussion and drums with multiple groups in the Greater Seattle area.
Regarding the quote on the top of the page, I heard it at the 2011 NAMM conference during a panel. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch the name of the guy who said it, but it really struck a nerve with me. He was specifically talking about how AutoTune is being used instead of working to get a perfect take. However, I think this applies to anything worth doing right.
